Lemon Bars
My family loves these tasty Lemon Bars! I found this recipe years ago in a magazine and have loved it ever since.
Ingredients
Crust
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup confection sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
Filling
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- CRUST: Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl and pack into a 8x8x2 inch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
- FILLING: Beat eggs in a medium bowl.
- Add sugar and lemon juice mix until thick and smooth.
- Add dry ingredients to egg mixture and blend until moist.
- Pour mixture over crust and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
