Lemon Bars
My family loves these tasty Lemon Bars! I found this recipe years ago in a magazine and have loved it ever since.
Crust
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup confection sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
Filling
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
CRUST: Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl and pack into a 8x8x2 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
FILLING: Beat eggs in a medium bowl.
Add sugar and lemon juice mix until thick and smooth.
Add dry ingredients to egg mixture and blend until moist.
Pour mixture over crust and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
