Egg Bake

An egg bake is a perfect way to use up any meat or vegetable leftovers in your refrigerator.

Ingredients

  • 10-12 eggs
  • 2 cup cooked vegetables
  • 2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 5 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • butter to grease the dish
  • fresh herbs if desired chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Butter a 6×10 or 8×8 dish
  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  • Whisk eggs until well beaten. Add cream, salt, and pepper, whisk until combined.
  • Layer vegetables, bacon, and cheese in the dish.
  • Add herbs if using
  • Pour the egg mixture over the top of the casserole and gently cover the ingredients with the eggs using a fork.
  • Bake for 25- 30 minutes or until center is set.

Notes

The cheese, vegetables, and meat can all be changed to meet your preferences in this recipe.
