
Egg Bake
An egg bake is a perfect way to use up any meat or vegetable leftovers in your refrigerator.
Ingredients
- 10-12 eggs
- 2 cup cooked vegetables
- 2 cup grated cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
- 5 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- butter to grease the dish
- fresh herbs if desired chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Butter a 6×10 or 8×8 dish
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- Whisk eggs until well beaten. Add cream, salt, and pepper, whisk until combined.
- Layer vegetables, bacon, and cheese in the dish.
- Add herbs if using
- Pour the egg mixture over the top of the casserole and gently cover the ingredients with the eggs using a fork.
- Bake for 25- 30 minutes or until center is set.
Notes
The cheese, vegetables, and meat can all be changed to meet your preferences in this recipe.
