Egg Bake
An egg bake is a perfect way to use up any meat or vegetable leftovers in your refrigerator.
Ingredients
10-12
eggs
2
cup
cooked vegetables
2
cup
grated cheese
1/2
cup
heavy cream or milk
5
slices
bacon
cooked and crumbled
butter
to grease the dish
fresh herbs if desired
chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Butter a 6x10 or 8x8 dish
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Whisk eggs until well beaten. Add cream, salt, and pepper, whisk until combined.
Layer vegetables, bacon, and cheese in the dish.
Add herbs if using
Pour the egg mixture over the top of the casserole and gently cover the ingredients with the eggs using a fork.
Bake for 25- 30 minutes or until center is set.
Notes
The cheese, vegetables, and meat can all be changed to meet your preferences in this recipe.
