
Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
Ingredients
- 24 asparagus stalks washed and trimmed
- 12 pieces of bacon cut in half lengthwise
- 1 tsp olive oil
- juice from 1/2 of a lemon
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and drizzle the olive oil on a sheet pan.
- Drizzle the lemon juice over the prepared asparagus.
- Mix the garlic, salt, and pepper and sprinkle over the asparagus.
- Wrap each spear in 1/2 of a bacon slice.
- Place the asparagus on the sheet pan and bake for 10 minutes. Turn each spear and cook for 5 more minutes. Broil for 2-3 minutes to finish crisping the bacon if needed.
- Garnish with lemon wedges.
