Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 24 asparagus stalks washed and trimmed
  • 12 pieces of bacon cut in half lengthwise
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • juice from 1/2 of a lemon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and drizzle the olive oil on a sheet pan.
  • Drizzle the lemon juice over the prepared asparagus.
  • Mix the garlic, salt, and pepper and sprinkle over the asparagus.
  • Wrap each spear in 1/2 of a bacon slice.
  • Place the asparagus on the sheet pan and bake for 10 minutes. Turn each spear and cook for 5 more minutes. Broil for 2-3 minutes to finish crisping the bacon if needed.
  • Garnish with lemon wedges.
