Granola
This homemade granola is my go-to recipe because it’s so easy to tailor to your family’s favorites. It’s a delicious way to save money and enjoy homemade cereal.
Ingredients
- 10 cup Dry Ingredients Oats, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, or puffed wheat or rice.
- 1 cup coconut oil melted
- 1 cup honey or pure maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 350℉
- Add the honey, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla to the melted oil.
- Add the dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix well. Pour in the coconut oil mixture and stir until fully combined.
- Pour the granola mixture evenly onto two parchment-lined baking sheets.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Remove the granola from the oven and stir, rotating the pans at this time for even cooking.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes, being careful not to over-brown the granola.
- Remove the granola from the oven and allow to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
Notes
Use 5 cups of oats, then add a combination of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and rice or wheat puffs to make up the remaining 5 cups of dry ingredients.
