This homemade granola is my go-to recipe because it’s so easy to tailor to your family’s favorites. It’s a delicious way to save money and enjoy homemade cereal.
Ingredients
10cupDry IngredientsOats, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, or puffed wheat or rice.
1cupcoconut oilmelted
1cuphoneyor pure maple syrup
1/2tspsalt
1tspvanilla extract
1/2tspcinnamon
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 350℉
Add the honey, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla to the melted oil.
Add the dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix well. Pour in the coconut oil mixture and stir until fully combined.
Pour the granola mixture evenly onto two parchment-lined baking sheets.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Remove the granola from the oven and stir, rotating the pans at this time for even cooking.
Bake for an additional 15 minutes, being careful not to over-brown the granola.
Remove the granola from the oven and allow to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
Notes
Use 5 cups of oats, then add a combination of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and rice or wheat puffs to make up the remaining 5 cups of dry ingredients.
