Chicken Salad Sandwich

Maybe everyone has their own go-to chicken salad sandwich recipe—but this one is ours. Honestly, I usually just toss it together without measuring, but we took the time to write it down just for you! It’s simple, kid-approved, and hands-down the most requested sandwich in our house. You really can’t go wrong with this one.

Ingredients

  • 4 cup cooked chopped or shredded chicken
  • 2/3 cup Mayo
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 celery stocks chopped small
  • 1/4 cup toasted pecans chopped
  • 1/2 cup washed and halved grapes washed and halved

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients and chill.
  • Feel free to use more or less of any ingredient depending on your preferences.
  • Choose your bread and load it up!

Notes

This is a perfect recipe for leftover or rotisserie chicken.  Sometimes I substitute the celery with apples and the grapes with dried cranberries.
