Deviled Eggs
This easy deviled egg recipe features a creamy filling with plenty of mustard flavor, making it a classic side dish for holidays, picnics, and parties.
- 12 boiled eggs shells removed
- 1/4 cup mayonaise
- 1 1/2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper plus more to taste
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks. Transfer the yolks to a medium-sized bowl.
Set the egg white halves aside on a serving platter while you prepare the filling.
Using a potato masher or a hand mixer, blend the egg yolks until smooth and lump-free.
Stir the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika into the mashed yolks until the filling is creamy and fully combined.
Transfer the yolk filling to a piping bag fitted with your favorite tip, or use a spoon to fill each egg white half evenly. Chill until ready to serve.
