These Blackberry Scones are so easy and taste amazing! This is a favorite when we have an over abundance of blackberries.

Ingredients
3cupFlour
1 tblsBaking powder
1tspBaking soda
1/4cupSugar
1/4tspSalt
1stickButterCold, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
1CupBlackberries
1CupButtermilk
1EggBeaten
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt. Mix with a fork.
Add butter and blend with a pastry blender, or fingers, until butter is evenly dispersed.
Add berries and buttermilk and stir until evenly moistened.
Turn onto floured surface and gently knead until dry dough forms.
Cut in half and pat each piece into a disk. Lightly roll each into a 6-inch circle. Transfer to uncoated baking sheet and brush tops with beaten egg. Score each into 6 wedges.
Bake 20 minutes, until tops are brown. Cool and serve!
