Black Chocolate Brownies
This Brownie recipe is an absolute MUST-TRY! They are so rich and chocolatey with the perfect consistency that's better than box brownies.
- 1 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/4 cup bitter sweet chocolate chips
- 2 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 5 eggs room temperature
- 1 tsp espresso powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup black cocoa powder available on amazon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 pan.
Melt butter, remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips, stir until melted.
Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, salt and espresso powder and mix with an electric mixer for about 5 minutes.
Pour melted chocolate mixture into egg mixture and stir gently to mix.
Add flour and cocoa and stir gently until combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan and cook for 40-50 minutes or until center is set.
